We purchased this clock for our house in the Adirondacks. It fits nicely between the two sliding glass doors to the outside deck, so we have a view of it with trees on either side of it, befitting it's outdoorsy styling. The pendulum is quite pleasing.
I didn't have the same problems other reviewers did with the packaging or hands getting stuck, but see how that could happen given that the hands are fragile. I would say that this looks best on a small wall, or in a sectioned area of a large wall; the face doesn't stand out enough in a large area.
